My Journey from Stage Fear to Event Hosting 🎤 Deepak Pokharel
From a shy student afraid to speak in front of a crowd to confidently hosting major events—my journey as a host has been truly transformative! ✨
My turning point came when Crimson College of Technology organized a welcome program. My friends encouraged me to take the stage for the Mr. and Ms. Fresher competition. Though nervous, their support gave me confidence. That moment sparked my passion for public speaking, and I started participating in various events to sharpen my skills. 🎙️
With time, I challenged myself by competing in bigger events. I was honored to take part in the Inter-College District Level Presentation Competition at Butwal Kalika Campus 📊 on Dec 5, 2024, and later in the Inter-College Business Competition at Tilottama Campus 💼 on Jan 9, 2024. These experiences strengthened my love for speaking and motivated me to keep improving. Eventually, I got the chance to host my first college event—Welcome Freshers Party 2024 🎉. The thrill of engaging with the audience gave me even more motivation!
My journey took an exciting turn when I joined Code for Change 🤖, where I hosted the General Member Orientation and later, the national-level event—Ideathon 2024 🔥. Standing on that stage, guiding participants through an inspiring event, was a proud moment for me. Looking back, I see how much I’ve grown—from fearing the crowd to absolutely loving the stage!
I hope to get even more opportunities in the future to host different events, inspire people, and create unforgettable experiences! 🎤✨
